Cynthia Milledge joined the KNOE 8 News staff as the weekend anchor in July 2006.
During her career in broadcasting she’s worked at WAKA-TV and WSFA-TV in Montgomery, Alabama.
Cynthia has won the Louisiana Associated Press Awards for Best Series and Best Team Coverage. She’s also won the Alabama Associated Press award for Best Documentary.
The Troy University graduate served in various community projects including: The Janice Capilouto Center for the Deaf and the Montgomery Association of Black Journalists.
Her motto is, “You can’t expect to tell or deliver a great newscast unless you know the people and what’s going on in the city.” That’s why you’ll find the Alabama native often delivering motivational speeches to youth at area churches.
